Infants and Toddlers
Infants and Toddlers are nurtured and observed to maked sure they are reaching their developmental milestones. Observations and checklist are done quarterly so parents can see their children's progress.
Preschool Class
Preschoolers are taught with a variety of materials. I use lots of manipulatives and hands on materials for children to use. My method incorporates Montessori and the High Scope approach to teaching. Children learn the skills and problem solving techniques they will use in elementary school. Flash cards, memorization and rote counting are NOT the ways I teach children, I give children a good soild foundation to succeed long term.
Before and After School Program
School age children are transported to and from school. I transport to Cielo Azul, Sandia Vista and Colinas Del Norte. Before school children are fed breakfast and after school they are fed snack. Childen complete homework and reading. Computers are set up to help children research, practice math skills and also to play games. Field trips are done weekly to fun places the children love.
