About Us

Northern Meadows in Home Child Care is ....

an established Family Child Care Home located in the Northern Meadows community of Rio Rancho.  Opened in 2007, we started out as a before and after school age program only.  Our services have expanded to handle all aspects of child care and we now serve all ages and developmental needs.

 

When we opened NMIHCC, it wasn't to make extra money or meant to be a short time thing. We opened up to fill a need in the community for parents to have a safe, fun, nurturing, learning environment for their children. As parents, we wanted to make sure that other parents would have worry free days away from their children. When we couldn't find quality care for our newborn, it was clear what we needed to do. We opened with the premise of offering children what we would expect as a parents for our own children. Everything you'd find in a center, but with the comforts of home. 

 

Every year we have raised our expectations, and the product has been parents referring their family, friends and coworkers.  The kids in my care are going to Kindergarten fully prepared and are extremely successful in school.
